First Shipment of Cheap Russian Oil Reached Karachi Port

Pakistan has witnessed a significant milestone as it received its first-ever Russian crude oil tanker at Karachi port. The vessel, named ‘Pure Point,’ arrived at the port with an empty load. The Russian tanker is quite large, measuring 183 meters in length, and has the capacity to transport 45 thousand metric tons of oil.

Thankfully, the arrival of the Russian ship happened before the arrival of the approaching hurricane. Shipping sources have confirmed that the Pure Point will unload its oil cargo at Oil Pier 2 of Karachi Port, and the berthing process is scheduled to occur today.
