Actions against cigarette smugglers were stepped up across the country in response to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s directive.
Customs Intelligence recovered smuggled cigarettes worth crores of rupees during raids in Karachi, Multan, and Dera Ismail Khan, according to reports.
In addition, shisha and vape flavors worth crores of rupees were seized during operations in various areas of Karachi.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif recently directed relevant institutions to take action against cigarette smugglers.
