Anil Chaudhary, a former cricket umpire from India, has officially stated that Pakistani spinner Usman Tariq’s bowling style is within the rules. After carefully watching videos of his performance, Chaudhary explained that while Tariq has a unique way of throwing where he releases the ball from the side with a quick pause, he does not break any laws.
Specifically, the umpire noted that Tariq’s elbow does not bend or straighten more than what the International Cricket Council (ICC) allows. This means his delivery is considered fair and legal, clearing up any concerns about his technique.
