Fourth Istanbol-Tehran-Islamabad Train Departs for Turkey

The fourth ITI (Islamabad-Tehran-Istanbul) shipping train carrying lots of high goods in six containers has left for Turkey from Pakistan.

Since the revival of the international shipping train operation on December 21 last year, nine trains carrying rice have reached Iran via Taftan.

An authoritative source in Pakistan Railways informed, “The fourth ITI train having the structure of three 40-feet long containers first arrived at Rohri/Sukkar. One more train having products in three containers managed to reach from Karachi that was connected with the ITI train,”

Furthermore, the spokesperson added, “The train is possibly to make Istanbul via Tehran (Istanbul) within the next week”.

Speaking about the products being shipped from Pakistan to Turkey via the ITI rail network, he said the goods would include a massive proportion of pink salt used in Turkey and other European countries.
