French Pilgrim Nabil Ennasri Cycles Over 5,000 Km to Perform Hajj

Nabil Ennasri, a French Hajj pilgrim of Moroccan origin, recently completed an extraordinary bicycle journey of over 5,000 km. He started in Paris and crossed 11 countries, including Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and Jordan, before reaching the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah and continuing to Makkah.

Ennasri, known for his work as a French affairs analyst and civil society activist, used this journey to raise awareness about global warming and revive the traditional pilgrimage experience. He shared updates on social media throughout his 57-day trip, expressing the profound impact it had on his prayers.

During his time in Jeddah, he received a warm welcome from the Saudi Cycling Federation and had a practice session with local club members. Ennasri’s journey allowed him to retrace the challenging path that many Muslims took in the past, drawing inspiration from their sacrifices.
