Punjab has made a major and historic move by introducing Artificial Intelligence education in all government schools across the province. This initiative is designed to ensure that every child, regardless of background, gets access to modern education and learns the digital and analytical skills needed to succeed in today’s fast-changing world.
The program focuses on preparing students for future careers by familiarizing them with AI concepts at an early stage. As part of this reform, every public school will have access to an AI teacher to support learning and guide students. In addition, 1,000 teachers are currently being trained as AI Master Trainers so they can effectively teach and support Artificial Intelligence education in schools.
According to the plan, Artificial Intelligence will be officially added to the school curriculum within the next 60 days. Education experts believe this step will help bridge the technology gap, improve learning standards, and make students more confident in using modern tools.
