Gold for Pakistan! Pakistan’s Police Inspector Iram Khan Defeats Indian Rival at World Powerlifting Championship

Rawalpindi Police Inspector Aram Khan has made Pakistan proud by winning an international title at the 2025 World Powerlifting Championship in Sri Lanka. She competed against athletes from many countries and secured first place by defeating Indian weightlifter Sapna. Aram Khan won the gold medal in both the overall competition and the deadlift category, proving her strength and dedication.

When she returned to Pakistan, she was welcomed with great respect at the Rawalpindi Police Lines. Officers, colleagues, and supporters gathered to celebrate her achievement. CPO Khalid Hamdani praised her hard work and said that she has brought great honor to the Punjab Police and the country. He also highlighted how her success will inspire young athletes, especially women, to follow their dreams.
