The price of gold faced a downward trend in Pakistan on Thursday, August 3, 2023.
As per the statistics revealed by the Pakistan Sarafa and Gems Jewelers Association, the rate of gold decreased by Rs. 2,800 per tola settling at Rs. 220,200 per tola.
In addition, the rate of 10 grams of gold reached Rs. 188,786 after facing a decline of Rs. 2,401 from the rates recorded on August 2, 2023.
The international market also observed a similar decreasing rate of the precious commodity on Thursday. After facing a fall of $15, the rate of gold stood at $1,936 per ounce.
The price of gold has been fluctuating throughout July, soaring till mid-July and then falling steadily to Rs. 226,400 on 20th July 2023. Further reduction in the price of gold has been observed today.
