Gold Prices Reach Highest Ever in Pakistan, Rs. 364,900 Per Tola!

Gold prices in Pakistan have hit a new all-time high, reaching Rs. 364,900 per tola after going up by Rs. 3,700 on Wednesday. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association, gold prices have risen by Rs. 7,300 per tola just this week, causing concern for buyers and excitement for sellers.

The price for 10 grams of 24 karat gold also saw a sharp rise, increasing by Rs. 3,171 to reach Rs. 312,842. For those buying 22 karat gold, the rate now stands at Rs. 286,782 for 10 grams.

Silver prices have also followed the upward trend. The price per tola for silver increased by Rs. 46, making it more expensive for people planning to buy silver jewelry or invest in it.

On the global market, gold prices also climbed significantly, rising by $37 to reach $3,424 per ounce. This increase in international prices is one of the reasons for the record-breaking rates in Pakistan as well.

This jump in gold prices is worrying for people who want to buy gold for weddings, savings, or gifts. Many jewelers say people are now buying smaller pieces or delaying purchases until prices drop again.

Experts say gold prices often rise when there is economic uncertainty, as many people see gold as a safe way to protect their money. For now, buyers are hoping for prices to settle so they can buy gold without breaking the bank.
