Good News for Karachiites: Ferry Service Between Do Darya to Port Qasim Proposed

Exciting news has emerged as a Japanese company has proposed the introduction of a ferry service between Karachi’s Do Darya and Port Qasim, as well as the development of water sports facilities in Sindh.

The proposal was discussed during a meeting between Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah and Yoshiyuki ITO, a senior manager from Yamaha Japan, responsible for Central Asia and the Middle East.

The meeting focused on the idea of establishing water sports facilities at various barrages and lakes in the province, including the proposed ferry service from Do Darya to Port Qasim. The CM House stated that there is a possibility of partnering with Yamaha Pakistan to develop these facilities through private sector involvement.

During the discussion, the Chief Minister highlighted the tremendous potential for water sports development at Keenjhar, Guddu, Sukkur, and Kotri Barrages. In response, the Yamaha representative expressed their willingness to establish a ferry service that would serve both transportation and recreational purposes.

Moreover, the Yamaha official commended their WaveRunners as exceptional sports equipment.
