Thousands of people who missed their chance to perform Hajj this year under the private scheme now have something to look forward to. According to reliable sources, those pilgrims who could not travel will be able to go for Hajj next year without paying any extra charges.
A large number of pilgrims had made full payments but could not perform Hajj due to various reasons. The organization of private Hajj operators has given a clear assurance to the Ministry of Religious Affairs that these pilgrims will get another chance next year.
Confirming this, the Federal Minister for Religious Affairs said that around 25,000 to 26,000 people who were left behind will be sent for Hajj next year under the same scheme.
He also shared that the amount paid by these pilgrims, which is about 490 million Saudi Riyals, is safe in Saudi Arabia’s accounts.
To make sure these pilgrims get priority, private operators will not be allowed to book their entire new quota next year. This will ensure that all pilgrims who missed out this year get first preference.
This decision has brought relief to many families who were worried about losing their hard-earned money. Now, they can be hopeful that they will finally get the chance to fulfill their dream of performing Hajj in the coming year.
The government and private operators have promised to keep the process smooth and fair so that these pilgrims can travel without any extra burden on their pockets.
