Saudi Arabia has introduced a new digital guide to make the Umrah experience easier and more meaningful for pilgrims visiting the Holy Mosques.
The app, available in several languages including Urdu, English, Arabic, Turkish, French, Malay, and Indonesian, offers a complete set of tools to assist worshippers during their spiritual journey.
Developed by the General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, the app provides users with information about prayer timings, sermons, Quran recitations, and details about the Imams and Muezzins of the Haramain.
It also includes a digital version of the Holy Quran along with special features for learning daily supplications and understanding the significance of various rituals.
One of the most helpful features of the app is its real-time digital prayer clock, which helps pilgrims track the time between prayers. For those observing Itikaf during Ramadan, the app offers complete guidance on rules and arrangements, ensuring pilgrims can perform their worship with ease and clarity.
The app can be accessed easily by scanning QR codes placed around the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah. Once scanned, it instantly opens on a smartphone, providing pilgrims with convenient access to all available features.
With this step, Saudi Arabia continues to enhance the spiritual experience of visitors to the Holy Mosques by combining technology with tradition ensuring that every pilgrim feels informed, guided and connected throughout their Umrah journey.
