The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) has agreed a Rs5 per uni cut in power costs in response to Prime Minister Imran Khan’s offer of historic and massive relief to the masses.
Shaukat Tarin, the Federal Minister of Finance and Revenue, presided over the ECC meeting.
The Power Division of the Ministry of Energy has provided a summary of the Prime Minister’s incentive package for lower electricity prices.
The ECC accepted the Prime Minister’s relief package, which included a Rs5 per unit reduction in power costs for a four-month period (March 2022 to June 2022).
