The cost of performing the hajj has increased by 200%; whereas it cost more than 4 lakh rupees under Tehreek-e-previous Insaf’s hajj policy, it will cost 12 lac rupees this year.
According to the information, doing the Hajj has become all but impossible for both the poor and middle class in the nation due to the country’s continual, agonising inflation, particularly the awful decrease in the value of the rupee.
This year, the Hajj, which costs 4 lakh rupees to do under the Tehreek-e-Insaaf government, will cost 12 lac rupees.
As a result, compared to the Hajj programme of the previous Tehreek-e-Insaf government, Hajj expenses have soared by 200% during the current administration.
