According to Sadaqat Ali Abbasi, Member National Assembly (MNA), the government is considering making Kotli Sattian and kahuta into new tourist destinations, which would also help reduce congestion in Murree.
He stated that a plan is being developed to build a tourism highway from Lower Topa Murree to Chowk Pindori via Bostanabad to provide tourists with easy access to Kotli Sattian.
He stated that they have directed the relevant authorities to prepare a comprehensive proposal for the project within the next few weeks.
According to the MNA, work on upgrading national highways and link roads is also underway. The Punjab government’s first objective is to complete development projects on time so that people’s living standards can be improved, he added. The most crucial factor in promoting tourism is to make these locations accessible.
Kotli Sattian will be developed as an alternative to Murree, according to a representative for the commissioner’s office, and the province administration is working on a plan to improve the area and identify tourism areas.
