The government has abolished the sales tax on petrol. According to reports, it raises the sales tax on high-speed diesel by 56 paisas per litre.
According to sources, the government has reduced the sales tax on gasoline to zero. Previously, the government charged a Rs2.06/litre sales tax on petrol.
The government, on the other hand, has raised the sales tax on high-speed diesel by 56 paisas per litre. The sales tax on high-speed diesel would rise to Rs9.58 per litre as a result of this hike. Previously, the high-speed diesel sales tax was Rs9.02 per litre.
