According to Shaza Fatima Khawaja, the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister (SAPM) on Young Affairs, the current administration has declared that the National Youth Employment Policy (NYEP) will create two million jobs for the nation’s youth.
Speaking at the Commonwealth Year of Youth’s inaugural event, Shaza Fatima noted that Pakistan has a sizable youth bulge, with 150 million individuals under the age of 30 making up roughly 68% of the country’s population.
She asserted that young people represented both the present and the country’s future.
