The federal government has announced a three-day extension for the submission of Hajj dues, offering relief to thousands of intending pilgrims who were facing time constraints in completing their second instalment. According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, applicants now have until November 19 to deposit their dues.
The decision was taken to accommodate individuals who had requested additional time due to banking delays, document preparations, or personal circumstances. Officials stated that the extension aims to ensure that all shortlisted pilgrims can complete their financial formalities without unnecessary stress.
Applicants have been advised to obtain a computerised payment receipt after submitting their dues. This receipt will be required for verification and to maintain a smooth processing experience as the ministry proceeds with the next steps of the Hajj 2026 arrangements.
Authorities also urged intending pilgrims to avoid last-minute delays and ensure all required documents and payments are submitted within the revised deadline. The Ministry emphasized that no further extensions are expected.
The government continues to coordinate with banks and relevant departments to streamline the process as preparations for Hajj 2026 move forward.
