According to sources, it is expected that FED (Federal Excise Duty) would be soon imposed by federal government on business class tickets of international flights.
17% of FED would be imposed on inbound and outbound business class ticket passengers, sources.
Further, the government of federal is trying to negotiate with IMF(International Monetary Fund) has informed about the decision.
Moreover, around Rs 50,000 would be raised in the international airlines tickets as of FED.
However, the final decision would be taken after the government’s instructions or confirmation.
