An official source revealed on Thursday that the administration is considering creating a special task force to monitor social media activities against the army.
He said that although a summary to form the task group had been moved, it was still pending approval. “Right now, it’s simply a suggestion,”
The planned task force will be made up of representatives from the National Database and Registration Authority, Pakistan Telecom Authority, and the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) (Nadra).
The police and other law enforcement authorities will support the planned task group as it formulates suggestions to stop social media abuse.
