Govt to Spend Rs. 350 Million on Artificial Rain in Lahore

The government plans to invest approximately Rs350 million in artificial rain to combat the worsening smog and air pollution in Lahore. Preparations for this initiative are already underway as officials are also considering the possibility of closing schools due to declining air quality.

This project involves collaboration between the Meteorological Department and the Environment Department, with the goal of reducing the effects of smog in the city. By implementing artificial rain, authorities hope to improve air quality and create a healthier environment for residents.

This proactive measure is part of larger efforts to address environmental issues that impact public health in Lahore.

The government aims to ensure the well-being of its citizens by taking decisive action against pollution, especially as air quality continues to decline. These efforts not only highlight the importance of environmental sustainability but also demonstrate the commitment to safeguarding public health in the face of ongoing challenges.
