The newly introduced tram, which has been imported from China, is fully battery-powered and can accommodate up to 200 passengers at a time. It offers a smooth, quiet, and air-conditioned ride, allowing tourists to comfortably explore the forest and zoo areas without the usual noise and environmental impact associated with conventional transport.
According to officials, the project is aimed at minimizing carbon emissions and reducing noise pollution within the natural surroundings, ensuring that the ecological balance of the area is preserved. The initiative draws inspiration from similar facilities already operating at Lahore Safari Zoo, where electric transport has improved accessibility and visitor satisfaction.
