Hajj 2026 Registration Starts in Pakistan

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has started the early registration process for Hajj 2026, giving both local and overseas Pakistanis the chance to express their interest in performing the sacred journey. The registration must be completed before the deadline of July 9, 2025.

This initial registration step is essential for all those who want to apply under either the government-managed or private Hajj programs. According to the ministry, no payment is required at this stage. Instead, the process is meant to collect data on the number of interested pilgrims.

The registration can be completed by visiting one of 15 authorized banks in Pakistan. Overseas Pakistanis can also register using official online or embassy channels set up for this purpose. It’s important to note that this is not a confirmation of a Hajj seat it only makes applicants eligible for the next stage of the selection process.

A ministry representative explained that this advance registration is being done to help Saudi Arabia determine the official Hajj quota for each country. The number of people who register now will directly impact how many pilgrims Pakistan will be allowed to send next year.

The government is encouraging all hopeful pilgrims to act quickly and complete the registration as soon as possible. Delaying may lead to missing out on a chance to apply for Hajj 2026 if the quota fills up quickly.
