Hassan Ali Replaces Naseem Shah in Pakistan’s Squad for ICC World Cup 2023

Hasan Ali has been chosen to join Pakistan’s ODI World Cup squad because Naseem Shah is injured and will be out for a long time. They also added legspinner Usama Mir to the squad.

Since Naseem Shah got hurt, Pakistan had to change their team for the upcoming World Cup. They picked Hasan Ali, who is experienced and can bowl well with both new and old cricket balls, to fill Naseem’s spot.

In the World Cup, Pakistan will have fast bowlers like Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf, Mohammad Wasim Jnr, and Mohammad Haris as a backup. Mohammad Nawaz, who can spin the ball and bat, will also be on the team, but Faheem Ashraf won’t be.

Inzamam-ul-Haq, the chief selector, said Naseem Shah was one of the best bowlers globally, and his injury is a big loss for Pakistan because he’ll be out for a long time.
