The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has warned that several cities in Sindh, including Karachi, could face heavy rainfall starting from Thursday. Additionally, some areas in the country might experience heavy snowfall and strong winds from February 29 to March 2.
The Met Office advised that this weather pattern could lead to flash floods, causing disruptions in daily life in vulnerable regions. A strong westerly wave is expected to approach western areas on February 29 and may impact most parts of the country on March 1 and 2.
Authorities have been urged to remain alert and take necessary precautions to prevent any potential problems during this predicted period of intense weather.
