On the day the India vs. Pakistan cricket match was supposed to happen in Colombo, it rained a lot at 7 AM. This made the sky cloudy and dark. But there was another problem. The stadium where they were supposed to play, called the R Premadasa Stadium, got damaged because of the rain.
The ground had wet spots on it. These wet areas can make it hard for the players to move around, catch the ball, and play well. It can also be risky for the players.
