The Chief Minister Punjab Free Solar Panel Scheme aims to provide solar energy solutions to eligible households, reducing their dependence on traditional electricity and lowering monthly bills. This scheme is designed to benefit those consuming up to 200 units of electricity per month by offering them free solar panel installations.

How to Apply for the Free Solar Panel Scheme

Method 1: Online Registration

Consumers can apply for the scheme online by visiting the official portal and following these steps:

1. Access the Registration Portal
   • Go to the official website: cmsolarscheme.punjab.gov.pk
   • Click on the Register button.
2. Complete the Registration Form
   • Enter details such as full name, email, mobile number, CNIC, and password.
   • Solve the captcha and submit the form.
3. Verify Your Email
   • Check your inbox for a verification email and click the link inside to confirm your account.
4. Log in and Apply
   • Use your registered email and password to sign in.
   • Enter your electricity bill reference number and verify the details.
5. Submit Your Application
   • Once the system confirms your information, accept the terms and submit your application.
   • You can track your application status through the portal.

Method 2: SMS Registration

For those without internet access, registration is also available via SMS.
