Here’s Lahore Qalandars PSL 9 Play-offs Qualification Scenario After Loss Against Multan Sultans

Defending champions Lahore Qalandars are facing a tough challenge in the ongoing ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). With six consecutive losses, they currently sit at the bottom of the points table. Their next match is against Babar Azam’s Peshawar Zalmi at the Pindi Cricket Stadium on March 2.

To keep their hopes alive for the playoffs, Lahore needs to win all four of their remaining matches, totaling eight points. However, this task won’t be easy, and they also need favorable results in other games.

In PSL history, Islamabad United managed to secure the fourth position with eight points in the 2022 season, ensuring their place in the playoffs.

Although the situation looks challenging, Lahore remains optimistic. They hope for opportunities to arise if other teams like Karachi Kings, Islamabad United, and Peshawar Zalmi continue to face losses. However, Lahore must win their upcoming matches to stay in the competition. Failure to win their seventh game will result in their elimination.
