Shehbaz Sharif has stated that hosting the Iran–United States talks in Pakistan is not only a diplomatic honour for the country but also a moment of pride for the entire Muslim world. He emphasized that Pakistan’s role as a facilitator of dialogue reflects its commitment to peace, regional stability, and constructive international engagement. According to him, the development highlights Pakistan’s growing relevance as a bridge-builder in complex global affairs.
The Prime Minister further noted that such high-level diplomatic engagement in Islamabad underscores the trust of both sides in Pakistan’s neutral and responsible diplomatic stance. He expressed hope that the discussions would contribute to reducing tensions and advancing a sustainable framework for peace.
