Umer Anees did not follow the conventional entrepreneurial path. Without access to venture capital, incubators, or formal mentors, he relied on what he describes as a clear vision, consistent execution, and an understanding of how search engines influence global business.
He began with small writing assignments and, over time, reportedly mastered SEO, expanded into international markets, and built what is now Nextware Technologies, an SEO company with over 40 team members operating in Pakistan, Dubai, and beyond.
The Vision: AI Meets SEO
At the core of Umer’s approach is his belief that SEO is no longer solely about effort but about smart, system-driven execution. In 2024, his team began developing OneClickSEO.ai, an in-house AI platform designed to automate and scale different SEO processes from content writing and internal linking to backlink campaigns and performance tracking.
Umer claims the platform currently supports over 100 websites, manages high-volume blog publishing and enables levels of output comparable to much larger teams.
Building Pakistan’s Digital Workforce
Reportedly, one of Nextware’s distinguishing features is its investment in local talent. In 2023, Umer launched an internship and training program, which he states has trained over 250 individuals many without prior digital experience. These trainees are now managing SEO pipelines, using AI tools and contributing to live client projects.
“Our model is simple: train raw talent, equip them with AI, and give them real responsibility,” Umer claims.

According to Umer, Nextware’s strategies have led to significant growth for various clients across sectors, including fashion, eCommerce, and crypto. He reports increases in organic traffic, backlink generation, and optimized content output, all achieved through AI-assisted workflows combined with human expertise.
What’s Next for Umer and Nextware?
Umer outlines an ambitious roadmap, including the launch of a client-facing version of OneClickSEO.ai, expansion into the UK and Southeast Asia, building Pakistan’s first fully integrated SEO operations dashboard, and developing a network of guest posting sites across industries.
