ICC decided to prohibit political banners from being displayed during World Cup match between Pakistan and India

During the Pakistan-India T20 World Cup match, the International Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to prohibit political banners from being brought into the stadium.

According to insiders, the sport’s worldwide governing body has decided to prohibit political flags and has issued strong orders to key officials in order to ensure that the high-voltage match between the two old adversaries is free of politics.

On October 24, Pakistan and India will play each other in the first match of the T20 World Cup (Sunday). The game will begin at 7:00 p.m. (PST). ICC took action after an aircraft carrying various banners flew over Headingly during the 2019 World Cup matches, according to sources.
