ICC Delegation Expresses Satisfaction with Champions Trophy 2025 Arrangements in Pakistan

A delegation from the International Cricket Council (ICC) recently met with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Mohsin Naqvi to discuss the preparations for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy 2025, which will be hosted by Pakistan.

During the meeting, the ICC officials expressed their satisfaction with the progress made so far, especially in Karachi and Rawalpindi, where they were impressed with the security arrangements. The discussions also covered security measures in Islamabad.

The meeting was attended by key figures from the ICC, including Sarah Edgar, Aun Muhammad Zaidi, Wasim Khan, David Musker, and Mansoor Manj. On the PCB’s side, Usman Wahla and Colonel (Retired) Khalid Mehmood were also present to represent the board.

Chairman Naqvi reassured the ICC delegation that Pakistan would provide top-tier facilities for the tournament. He confirmed that stadium upgrades would be completed well in advance of the event, ensuring that everything would be ready to host the prestigious ICC Champions Trophy.

Naqvi also emphasized the importance of this event for Pakistan, stating that it would be a significant moment for the country to showcase its capability to host a world-class international cricket tournament.

The ICC officials, overall, were pleased with Pakistan’s efforts and looked forward to continued cooperation in the lead-up to the 2025 tournament.
