IESCO has made great progress in collecting unpaid bills, recovering Rs 4.60 billion from 168,000 consumers. This is part of their ongoing efforts to combat power theft and non-payment. According to Chief Muhammad Naeem Jan, the campaign has led to cutting off transformers and meters for many defaulters who failed to clear their dues.

The recovery effort is being carried out in all areas where IESCO operates, including Islamabad, Rawalpindi city, Rawalpindi Cantt, Attock, Jhelum, and Chakwal. IESCO’s recovery teams have been praised for their hard work and efficiency. Local police and law enforcement agencies are fully supporting them to ensure defaulters comply.

This initiative not only focuses on collecting overdue payments but also aims to reduce power theft, encouraging responsible electricity use. By tackling these issues, IESCO is showing its dedication to improving its financial condition and ensuring reliable electricity services for its customers.

The campaign serves as a reminder that all consumers need to follow the rules, pay their bills on time, and help create a fairer, more efficient electricity system for everyone.
