Gianni Infantino FIFA president recently stated that after the sales banned in the stadium World Cup fans can survive for three hours a day without beer.
“I think personally if for three hours a day you cannot drink a beer, you will survive,” he told his opening press conference in Doha. “The same applies in France, Spain, Scotland.”
Just 48hours before, the World Cup chiefs banned beer sales all around the stadium in Qatar.
Moreover, Alcohol is highly prohibited in the Islamic nation but the hosts sparked fury from fans with their late dramatic decision.
However, FIFA the governing body of football stated that beer wouldn’t be available for sale to the fans around the stadium as per the discussions with the hosts.
It stated “removing sales points of beer from Qatar’s FIFA World Cup 2022 stadium perimeters”.
