Indonesia Planning to Achieve $50 Billion e-Commerce Trade with Pakistan by 2025

Indonesia has great plans for its e-commerce goals, and Pakistan is a part of those plans. According to Indonesian Ambassador to Pakistan Adam Mulawarman Tugio, Indonesia has set a goal of $50 billion in e-commerce trade with Pakistan by 2025.

The envoy emphasized both countries’ large youth populations, claiming that they may make their mark in the global e-commerce trade and create a huge job prospects for themselves.

As per reports, Indonesia’s envoy feels that e-commerce trade between the two countries has a lot of potential.

The envoy believes that the increased interconnection of today’s world, in which worldwide companies are tied to both large and small markets, gives many chances for e-commerce aspirants.

According to the Indonesian ambassador, e-commerce trade between Pakistan and Indonesia can help enhance bilateral trade and connect both sides’ young in business and trade.

Tugio also stressed the importance of e-commerce, adding that worldwide retail e-commerce sales were $4.28 trillion in 2020 and are likely to surpass $5 trillion by 2022.
