Indonesian Bowler Made World Record of 5 Wickets in Single Over in T20I

Indonesia’s Gede Priandana, aged 28, made history in T20 International cricket by becoming the first bowler ever to take five wickets in a single over. He achieved this remarkable feat during a match against Cambodia in Bali.

Priandana’s over began in dramatic fashion with a hat-trick, as he dismissed Shah Abrar Hussain, Nirmaljit Singh, and Chanthoeun Rathanak on consecutive deliveries. He then went on to claim two more wickets in the same over, giving away just one run in total. This extraordinary spell left the Cambodian batting lineup stunned and quickly turned the match in Indonesia’s favour.

Apart from his success with the ball, Priandana also made a small contribution with the bat, scoring six runs during Indonesia’s innings. However, the standout batting performance of the match came from Dharma Kesuma, who played a brilliant knock of 110 runs off 68 balls, helping Indonesia post a strong total.

This historic performance by Gede Priandana is being seen as a major milestone in international T20 cricket. It not only adds a new record to the format but also reflects Indonesia’s steady progress and growing presence in the world of cricket.
