Infinix became the top locally assembled smartphone brand in Pakistan in 2025, producing more than 3.6 million mobile phones, according to data shared by the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA). This strong performance highlights the growing role of local assembly in meeting the country’s mobile phone needs.
Even though Pakistan’s mobile manufacturing sector slowed down during the year due to weaker consumer demand and people keeping their phones for longer periods before upgrading, local assembly continued to dominate the market. Phones assembled within the country accounted for 93 percent of total mobile phone usage, showing that locally produced devices remain the preferred choice for most consumers.
Overall, local manufacturers assembled around 30.21 million mobile phones in 2025. This figure includes both smartphones and basic 2G handsets. The data reflects the importance of domestic production in supporting the telecom industry and reducing reliance on imported devices.
