Iran Aims to Restore Majority of Refining Capability within Two Months, Oil Ministry Official

Iran has announced that it expects to restore the majority of its oil refining capacity within the next two months following recent attacks on its energy infrastructure. Officials stated that repair and rehabilitation work is already underway across multiple affected facilities, with technical teams working to speed up the recovery process.

According to authorities, some refinery units are likely to resume operations within a matter of days, while others will be brought back online in phases over the coming weeks. The overall target is to return to around 70 to 80 percent of pre-attack production capacity in the near term, as part of efforts to stabilize fuel supply and reinforce the country’s energy infrastructure.
