Iranian and US forces rushed on Saturday to search for a missing crew member after a US fighter jet crashed inside Iran. This is the first incident of its kind since the conflict between the two sides began.
Iran claimed that it shot down the F-15 fighter jet, while US media reported that special forces were able to rescue one of the two crew members. However, the second crew member is still missing, and search efforts are ongoing.
Iran’s military also said that it shot down another US aircraft, an A-10 aircraft, in the Gulf region. Reports suggest that the pilot of this aircraft was safely rescued.
The conflict started more than a month ago after US and Israeli strikes reportedly killed Ali Khamenei. Since then, tensions have continued to rise, spreading across different parts of the Middle East. The situation has also affected the global economy and created uncertainty for millions of people.
So far, the United States Central Command has not released an official statement about the F-15 incident. However, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt confirmed that the president has been informed about the situation.
This incident highlights the seriousness of the ongoing conflict and the risks involved. As both sides continue their actions, the situation remains tense, and the possibility of further escalation cannot be ruled out.
