Ishaq Dar, the Minister for Finance and Revenue, has announced that the government will keep the prices of petrol and diesel unchanged for the next two weeks.
This decision was made by considering the international fuel rates. Minister Dar dismissed media reports about the prices and explained that the decision was influenced by slight increases in global crude oil and gas prices.
He also mentioned the government’s efforts in lowering diesel and petrol prices by Rs35 and Rs20 respectively in the last month. The finance minister emphasized that these prices would remain the same until June 30th.
