Islamabad Likely to Launch Its First’s-Ever Adventure Park

Islamabad is getting ready to build its very first adventure park, a major step toward boosting tourism and providing more recreational options for residents and visitors. The decision was made during a recent meeting led by Secretary Interior Mohammad Khurram Agha, with top officials in attendance, including Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), Mohammad Ali Randhawa.

The park is expected to become one of the city’s most popular tourist attractions. It will feature a variety of outdoor activities, including walking paths, cycling tracks, and other exciting features, all designed with the environment in mind. The project aims to offer a fun and healthy space for people of all ages while also protecting the natural surroundings.

Although the final location has not been confirmed, officials are considering a site near Lake View Park, a scenic area already known for its beauty and popularity among locals.

One of the key aspects of the adventure park will be its focus on sustainability. The plan includes the construction of a modern Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) to ensure that the project is eco-friendly and does not harm the environment. The park will also include modern recreational facilities that meet international standards, helping to put Islamabad on the map as a global destination for eco-tourism and outdoor fun.

This new development reflects the government’s ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life in the capital and promote it as a vibrant, green, and tourist-friendly city.
