ISPR Honors the Untiring Efforts of Parveen Saeed, Founder of ‘Khana Ghar’

Parveen Saeed, founder of ‘Khana Ghar,’ has been recognized by Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) for feeding over 1000 people on a daily basis.

After her neighbour, a mother of two, killed her children because she couldn’t afford to feed them, Parveen Saeed, a resident of Surjani Town, vowed to help feed the hungry. According to Saeed, she thought it was her responsibility to do something about the severe poverty she saw on a daily basis.

Parveen Saeed has been feeding over 1000 people on a regular basis for the past 20 years. She wasn’t wealthy, and she had no connections with anybody other than humanity. As a result, she made the decision to feed others who were unable to feed themselves. As a result, Khana Ghar, a soup kitchen, was conceived.
