‘It Will Be Hard for Pakistan to Come Back in this World Cup,’ Ganguly

Sourav Ganguly, the former Indian cricketer, made comments following India’s convincing victory over Pakistan in Ahmedabad on Saturday.

Despite Pakistan’s promising start, reaching a strong position at 155/2, their batting lineup suffered a significant collapse and was ultimately dismissed for just 191 runs.

Ganguly expressed his surprise at the noticeable lack of resilience in Pakistan’s batting performance. He pointed out that the current Pakistani team appears to struggle with pressure compared to the Pakistan team he played against during his career.

“During our time, Pakistan was a different team. This is not the kind of Pakistan team we used to face. This team can’t handle pressure while batting. It will be difficult for Pakistan to make a comeback in this World Cup with this batting,” Ganguly commented.

Ganguly’s remarks highlight concerns about Pakistan’s ability to perform under pressure and make a strong comeback in the ongoing World Cup, especially after their recent loss to India by seven wickets.
