Students from Jamia Baitussalam Madrasa achieved a remarkable feat by winning the 19th National Engineering Robotics Contest (NERC), surpassing numerous colleges and universities. The event, held at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) and organized in collaboration with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) Pakistan’s STEM Careers Programme, aims to promote robotics research in the country.
During the competition from July 11 to 15, participants from various schools, colleges, and universities across Pakistan competed in the automation and robotics categories. However, Jamia Baitussalam stood out and excelled in their performance, garnering admiration and recognition. The organization behind the Madrasa, Baitussalam Welfare Trust, expressed gratitude and credited God for their team’s outstanding achievement in the National Robotics Contest.
Jamia Baitussalam’s victory at NERC adds to their already impressive track record of winning several competitions. The students put in immense effort to prepare for this prestigious event, leading them to secure first place in the Modular School category and both first and second places in the Ready to Race category.
