PAF has reached the United Kingdom to take part in the Royal International Air Tattoo (RIAT) 2025. This famous airshow is one of the biggest military airshows in the world and will be held at RAF Fairford from July 18 to 20.
The PAF will show its modern JF-17 Thunder Block-III fighter jets and the reliable C-130 Hercules aircraft at the event. The JF-17 Thunder is a fighter jet made with the help of Pakistan’s own aviation experts and is known for its advanced technology and strong performance.
On their way to the UK, the JF-17 jets showed their long-distance flying skills by doing mid-air refuelling with a PAF IL-78 tanker aircraft. This means the jets were refuelled while flying, which proves that the PAF has the capability to carry out missions over long distances without needing to land.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the PAF’s appearance at this international airshow is proof of its professionalism, top-class training, and the growing strength of Pakistan’s local aircraft industry.
By joining the RIAT, the PAF gets to show the world how skilled its pilots and engineers are, and how well it can work with other air forces. The event will also help build better ties with friendly countries and boost Pakistan’s image in the global aviation community.
The PAF team is ready to proudly represent Pakistan at the Royal International Air Tattoo 2025.
