On Google Maps, a Karachi resident tagged an area to warn motorcyclists about a checkpoint set up by Sindh Police. The pin location was marked with the words “be careful, cops are here” to aid fellow riders.
Motorcyclists who were issued tickets for not wearing a helmet or for not having their license and registration appreciated the effort. While law enforcement agencies (LEA) try to use technology to restore law and order, some people use technology to avoid law enforcement.
