A gang of robbers is suspected of hypnotizing a man and robbing him of Rs 3.5 million and prize bonds in Karachi. The incident took place in the Gulshan-e-Iqbal area.
The victim, in his statement to the police, claimed that he believes he was hypnotized by the robbers, as he was unable to resist their commands. The police have registered an FIR and initiated a search operation to apprehend the gang.
Last year, a similar case was reported in Karachi, where the Ferozabad police arrested a 60-year-old man and his son for operating a gang that robbed shopkeepers using hypnotism and other deceptive tactics.
The gang, captured on CCTV footage, employed various deceptive methods, with hypnotism as their primary tool, to steal money and merchandise from shopkeepers. One video even showed the gang leader emptying a shopkeeper’s money locker using hypnotism.
