Khunjerab Top, the famous mountain pass at the Pakistan-China border, has welcomed its first snowfall of the season. The sudden change in weather on Monday turned the scenic valley into a stunning white wonderland.
The snowfall brought a sharp chill to the air, but it also attracted tourists eager to witness the beauty of the snow-covered peaks. Visitors shared photos and videos online, highlighting the breathtaking views of the region.
According to the Met Office, most parts of Pakistan will continue to see dry weather in the coming days. However, a fresh westerly wave is likely to bring rain to northern areas starting on October 3.
Meanwhile, southeastern Sindh may also experience thundershowers later in the day, while the rest of the country is expected to stay mostly dry.
The early snowfall at Khunjerab has set the tone for the upcoming winter season, offering both charm for tourists and challenges for locals living in the high-altitude region.
