King Salman Issues Royal Order to Host Another 1,000 Family Members of Palestinian Victims for Hajj

King Salman has issued a directive to host 1,000 family members of Palestinians affected by the ongoing conflict for this year’s Hajj pilgrimage. This recent order comes after a similar directive in May, bringing the total number of Palestinian family members hosted for Hajj this year to 2,000.

This initiative is part of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program for Hajj and Umrah, which is overseen by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance. The program aims to offer support and spiritual solace to those affected by conflict and hardship, allowing them to perform the sacred pilgrimage.

Since its inception 26 years ago, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program has hosted over 60,000 pilgrims from various countries. The program not only facilitates the pilgrimage for those who might not otherwise have the means but also aims to promote peace, unity, and religious solidarity among Muslims worldwide.

King Salman’s gesture underscores Saudi Arabia’s ongoing commitment to supporting Palestinians and fostering a sense of community and compassion within the Muslim world. By providing this opportunity, the program hopes to bring hope and relief to families affected by the conflict, allowing them to participate in a significant religious experience.

The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has been diligent in ensuring the smooth execution of this program. The ministry coordinates all necessary arrangements, including travel, accommodation, and other logistical support, to ensure that the guests can perform Hajj with ease and comfort.

The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques’ Guests Program continues to be a beacon of generosity and hospitality, reflecting the values of compassion and support that are central to Islamic teachings. Through such initiatives, Saudi Arabia aims to strengthen bonds within the Muslim community and provide much-needed relief to those facing adversity.
