KP Govt to Auction Number Plates Named After Imran Khan, Zardari, Nawaz, Maryam & Others

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced that it will auction special vehicle number plates featuring the names of well-known political figures from Pakistan. These include plates carrying the names of PTI founder Imran Khan, President Asif Ali Zardari, and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.

According to Provincial Excise and Taxation Minister Syed Fakhar Jehan, the auction will also include number plates named after Pakistan Peoples Party founder Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz. These special number plates are expected to attract strong interest due to their political significance and unique appeal.

The auction will be carried out in phases. In the first phase, number plates titled “Imran Khan-804” and “Imran Khan-1” will be put up for bidding. This initial auction is scheduled to take place on January 27 at Nishtar Hall in Peshawar.

The starting bid price for each plate will be Rs1 million. Interested buyers must submit their applications through the Dastak mobile app by January 26 in order to participate in the bidding process.
